HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man fighting for his life at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is getting some big time support at home.
All weekend long folks are hosting events to try and raise money for Beau Farley and his family.
Farley is battling brain cancer.
At a spaghetti dinner they made $1,000 and Saturday they hoped to keep the generosity rolling.
More than 200 bikers participated in the Paul Ritchie Poker Run, an event that raises money each year for different groups.
Dale Enochs, organizer, said he's happy the rain held off for the event.
"We've had so much rain, and today the good lord opened up the skies and let us have a good day and I really appreciate that, and it just seems like it was meant to be today absolutely."
The Farley's are planning a return to Huntington sometime in July.

Our church family has been praying for Beau Farley, who is a wonderful Christian man. I'm sure if you called Lewis Memorial Baptist Church in Huntington, they could give you more info on donations.
Nicki, I thought that 1000 was low, where I work a lot of them were brought, I have to say it wasn't great, but as long as it went to a good cause I won't complain.
I think that it is sad that people have to have fund raisers to pay for their health care. It is good that we have good people who are willing to do this--sad our health care systems just try to make $$$$ rather than help.
