Names Released of Five Killed in Fiery Crash
Police believe alcohol is to blame for a fiery accident on I-79 in Braxton County Friday evening that killed five people. All five had ties to Kanawha County.

Police think alcohol is to blame in a wrong-way drive down Interstate-79 that killed 5 people from our region. It happened Friday evening near the Servia Road exit, close to the Braxton-Clay County line.
State police say Jeremy Shamblin, and his twins Haylee and Cody died when a pick-up truck driven by Paul George hit them head-on. A friend of the Shamblin family says Jeremy had just picked the children up to go to see a live nativity scene in Nitro.
Shambiln was just 32 years old, the twins: seven. He leaves behind his wife, Whitney, and their three other children.
"The family is still in shock," said David Bennett, a friend of the Shamblin family. "They're doing okay, but that's to be expected. She lost a big part of her life."
Shamblin was from Clendenin in Kanawha County.
Paul George was from Charleston. Police still have haven't released the name of his passenger.
Police say they believe alcohol was involved in the crash.
