HURRICANE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An 80 year old woman died after being involved in a car accident.
It happened Saturday around 11 a.m. At the intersection of Route 35 and Hurricane Creek Road.
Wilma Leslie was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center where she later died from her injuries.
Sheriff's Deputies in Putnam say that her car collided with a pick-up truck.
The driver of the truck wasn't injured, but a passenger was taken to CAMC Teays Valley for treatment of some minor injuries.
It's not clear who was at fault.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

To Charles - How can you say a stop light is not necessary? It's not about people stopping at the stop sign, it's about getting across the four lanes with traffic going 65 plus mph!!! That's not even including the middle section. So what are they going to do when school starts and a bus can't set there cause it's longer then that middle section, how many innocent lives will be taken then?!?
