Columbus Children's Hospital to Open Center in Ironton
Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio announced Monday it plans to open a “Close To Home” Center in Ironton, Ohio later this month.

IRONTON, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio announced Monday it plans to open a “Close To Home” Center in Ironton, Ohio later this month.
“Close To Home” Centers offer community-based testing, treatment and care for children and families depending on the needs of the community.
It includes pediatric surgery, neurology and urology specialty services. The Pediatric Surgery Clinic will offer surgery consultation and post-surgical follow-up care. The Neurology Clinic will provide services in sub-specialty evaluations and care for children who have neurological disorders affecting the central nervous system, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. The Urology Clinic will offer comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for children with diseases of the genitourinary tract.
This is the eighth ”Close To Home” Center in Ohio.
The Ironton “Close To Home” Center will also include a “ChildLab” which opens on July 13.
Both will be located at 407 S. 3rd St., Suite B.

It's so nice that there's another alternative to SOMC! Although I'd rather die on my way to Columbus (and I am an employee of SOMC), I'm so happy there's a closer alternative!
this is great news, columbus childrens saved both of my childrens lives and im so glad that they will be closer
