Police: Father Shoots Son During Argument
An argument between a father and and his adult son turned violent in Logan County.

LOGAN, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An argument between a father and his adult son turned violent.
West Virginia State Police in Logan say Denver Perry shot his son, Jeffery, in the face.
It happened about 3 a.m. Wednesday at their home in Lyburn.
Jeffery Perry was taken to a Charleston hospital for surgery.
Denver Perry is now facing a charge of malicious wounding.

I have known this man all my life, he is not crazy or mean. This man could not even go to sleep at night without someone tring to steal his money and medication. He has tried all his life to raise his children right. Those of us who know his sons were not suprised the only suprise was that he was able to go this long without shooting one of them.

i've known this man my whole life... and ppl should not judge by what they read.. i do not by any way condone the way he acted. but i do know what this man has put up with... if ppl only knew the whole story there are two sides...
