CALHOUN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man from Doddridge County has been charged in a double murder in Calhoun County.
State Police tell WSAZ.com Kirk Alan Miller, 32, of Salem was arrested at his work on Thursday and charged in the deaths of Mike and Julie Flanagan.
The Flanagans were found April 14 shot to death in their home on Left Fork Road near Millstone.
Investigators tell WSAZ.com Miller confessed Thursday to the murders and was very cooperative with police.
Miller told police he was assisting Mr. Flanagan in distributing marijuana throughout the area when Mr. Flanagan refused to pay him. Miller says after several attempts to collect the money he shot and killed the couple in anger.
Police tell WSAZ.com during the investigation they found a marijuana growing operation in Mr. Flanagan's home.

I know he didnt have it in him to do this. I grew up with him and hung out with him on a regular basis. our kids played together every weekend. this isnt the 1st person who has been arrested on these charges and prob wont be the last. they say he confessed well that is bs cause he hasnt. he hasnt even been in front of a judge yet to set bond. he is just being held. my prayers are with him and his kids.
