It's not just meth that Kanawha county's taking aim at. On Thursday the county unveiled a drug tip line for people to anonymously report any drug problem they see.
The Kanawha county prosecutor's office is sponsoring a drug tipline. The Metro Drug Unit says the drug problem will always be around, but officers want to give people a new way of getting it out of their communities faster.
"It will never be out. Drugs are here to stay. Let's deal with it and get the best enforcement we can and make life more tolerable for the taxpayers," said Chuck Carpenter, Metro Drug Unit.
That hotline number is 304 - 720 - 0777. You don't have to give your name, you can just leave your tip and an officer will check it out.
