The west bound lanes of Route 25 in Institute are shut down after a 3-car accident.

UPDATE 9:45 p.m.
INSTITUTE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The westbound lanes of Route 25 in Institute are now open.
The lanes were closed after a three-car accident at the intersection of Route 25 and Goff Mountain Road.
ORIGINAL STORY
INSTITUTE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The west bound lanes of Route 25 in Institute are shut down after a 3-car accident.
It happened at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Route 25 and Goff Mountain Road.
Multiple ambulances were called to the scene and five people were taken to the hospital. No word yet how seriously anyone was hurt.
Traffic is backed up in the area.
