Ribfest Kicks Off in Charleston, Lasts All Weekend
The city's 11th annual Ribfest is underway in downtown Charleston.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The city's 11th annual Ribfest is underway in downtown Charleston.
The event kicked off Thursday evening and runs through Sunday. It's located on the lot next to Shoney's on Kanawha Boulevard (where the Elk River Town Center Inn used to be located).
Here's the full schedule:
FRIDAY: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
SATURDAY: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
SUNDAY: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
On Friday night, country singer Matt Stillwell will perform. Gary Puckett and the Union Gap will take the stage on Saturday.

Oh, dear PeeWee. I am a healthy, physically fit person that works out and eats healthy all week long. That won't stop me from enjoying a BBQ this weekend at Ribfest. FYI, WV is already one of the most obese states in the US, no need for you to move to Iowa. You can stay right here and act miserably. It's the uneducated folks with negative attitudes like yourself that make our state a bad place, not those with a large appetite. I'll think about you when I enjoy my ribs & rootbeer this weekend =) Keep sitting at home misspelling insults on the comment box while the rest of us enjoy OUR weekend in OUR nice state.
