CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A young boy was taken to the hospital Friday afternoon after he was hit by car in Logan County.

It happened at about 1:30 p.m. on Mill Creek Road -- just outside of Chapmanville.

Logan County 911 dispatchers say the 3-year-old boy was hit by either a car or truck, but it wasn't clear which one.

The boy was taken to a hospital in Logan and then flown to a hospital in Charleston.

No word yet how the accident happened, the boy's name or his condition.

The Logan County Sheriff's Department is investigating the accident.

The story says they don't know if it was a truck or a car so where do you get the driver tried everything possible to not hit this little boy are you the person who did it do you know more than we do? so why did you run.... and leave the boy!!!!!!!

I dont get way people get on here and start assuming and asking a computer screen, what happened, how did it happen and wanting details so soon. Its the News and they pass it on as soon as they have the CORRECT details. People are way too funy these days when they want to get all the details of something sooo sad. Heart to the family, boy and the driver, I can wait patiently for the rest of the story.
