Grant Money & Fundraising Pay-Off for Volunteer Fire Department
Grant money, a lot of fundraising and donations finally paid off for a fire department in our area.

PRICHARD, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Grant money, a lot of fundraising and donations finally paid off for a fire department in our area.
The Prichard Volunteer Fire Department showed their new rescue truck Saturday.
The truck cost nearly $88,000.
It's an investment department members say was sorely needed to help save the lives of Wayne County residents.
The new pumper truck will replace a retiring truck, and will be used mainly as a first response to accidents and rescues, and of course for fighting fires.
The department also got a brand new ambulance which was funded partially by the county and by donations.
