KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- As the rain fell early Sunday morning, Cabin Creek flowed over its banks.
Many areas along the creek including Wealthy Acres, Rhonda and Dawes saw high water.
Firefighters even used a boat to rescue several families from their homes.
People who live around Cabin Creek blame low lying bridges for the flooding issues they've had over the years. Many people say that the trash and limbs that get collected under the bridges is what causes the water to back up and flood homes.
No injuries were reported from the flooding.

You know what. There is a reason this person wishes to remain anonymous. It must be pretty embarassing always having ignorant things coming out of your mouth all the time. But im sure that you are the one that runs the street sweeper in your neighborhood. These people really need help and you people are taking pot shots?!!! If your house were on fire I'm real sure you would tell the city fire dept. (No thank you. I can take care it myself.) What a bunch of hypocrites.

I shudder to think of all the good milk and bleach jugs, beer bottles and cans, and dirty baby diapers that were swept away by these high water.

You know, if I lived up Dry Branch Hollow, and I saw that tree limbs and such were going to cause my home to flood. I believe I would try to get them out myself. It is not the State 'Road' peoples job to get stuff out of creeks...
