Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Mason, W.Va.
The precautionary boil water advisory issued for customers of the Town of Mason Water System has been lifted.

MASON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The precautionary boil water advisory issued for customers of the Town of Mason Water System has been lifted.
The boil water advisory was issued back on August 7 following the relocation of a water line for the town sidewalk project. This caused a disruption in water service.
UPDATE @ 8pm Friday
MASON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The town of Mason Water Department has issued a boil water advisory for all customers on its water system.
The advisory is issued because an 8-inch line needed to be relocated because of a town sidewalk project.
All water used for drinking, cooking and for brushing teeth should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute and allowed to cool before use.
This advisory is purely precautionary, as there has been no evidence of contamination.
This boil water advisory is in effect until further notice.

MASON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Water service in the Town of Mason will be shut off on Friday, August 7 for four hours.
Crew will work to replace a water line for a sidewalk project.
The water will be off from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

LOL! They said that it would be shut off for four hours! Well, it went off at 8:30 like they said, but we didn't have water untill 7:30 last night!
Great to find this out now...after I've been drinking iced tea I made when I got home from work this evening.
