Man Killed After Losing Control of Homemade Dune Buggy
A man was killed in an accident in the Milton area on Saturday.

MILTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man was killed in an accident in the Milton area on Saturday.
Cabell County Sheriff's Deputies tell WSAZ.com 59-year-old Norman Goodpaster was killed when he lost control of his homemade dune buggy and went over a rocky hillside.
The accident happened Saturday around 815 p.m. on Coopers Ridge Road.
Deputies say Goodpaster died instantly. He was not wearing a seat belt.

i didn't know this was here or i would have spoken up sooner. My uncle Bugs was a great man. he had the best heart an always help ppl even ppl who may not have help him. i road with my uncle on the buggy and yes he drank but come on get off your high horse who of you haven't dont the same thing. He never used that safety belt as u call it.i was post to have gone with him that day and if i had i wouldn't have use it ether. All i know is maybe you should know a person befor you speak somethings. And that my famliy has lost 2 members this year and will never be the same. And yes TERRY and RIK think befor you speak next time he has a every big famliy and many freinds wich was his famliy to so with your words you hurt alot. i hate to think someone has thought that of my uncle.i hope to god his soul is at rest. i know i speak for alot with i say the pain of lossing Bugs is still very realy and very painful for many.it's hard to think of a world with out him and hubby in it.

IT STILL ALL SEEMS LIKE A BAD BAD DREAM. HE WAS TAKEN TO SOON.THE RIDGE AND MILTON IS NOT THE SAME WITH OUT OUR BUGGS, BRENDA AND FAMILY MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU STILL, AND KELCY. IM SO SORRY PAPAW WAS TAKEN SO SOON HE WAS SUCH A WONDERFUL MAN. IVE KNOWN HIM ALL MY LIFE, AND HE LOVED YOU VERY MUCH YOU WAS PRIDE AND JOY.HE QWAS VERY PROUD OF YOU. NOW PAPAW IS YOUR ANGEL LOOKING DOWN ON YOU, WHEN YOU FEEL SAD JUST LOOK UP AND TALK TO HIM HE WILL KNOW WHAT TO DO . GOD BLESS YOU. MISS YOU BUGGS ITS NOT THE SAME IN MILTON WITH OUT YOU BEING AROUND. REST IN PEACE. GOD BLESS THE FAMILY

i cant beleive that papaw is gone . i feel like screaming . i am really going to miss him .he was a good guy and no one would judge him . he would do anything for me . Papaw i will miss you but i know yo are in a better place were nothing will go rong ..reast in peace papaw i will miss you .
