Child Hit by Car While Riding Bike

GLASGOW, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A 9-year-old boy learned the importance of looking both ways before crossing traffic Saturday night.

The boy was hit by a car near the intersection of 2nd Street and 4th Ave.

Firefighters say the child was riding his bike down a hill and went in front of the car.

The boy was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

He was wearing a bike helmet.
