CHESAPEAKE, Ohio (WSAZ) -- It's a dance no one will ever forget: the music, the moves and since it's almost Halloween, there's no better time to get down with a little thriller!
People gathered in the parking lot at Chesapeake High School Saturday night to try and break a world record for the most people dancing to a song at the same time. The song of choice: Michael Jackson's "Thriller".
It might have only looked like a few kids getting down you have to consider this, people all over the world started the song at 8:30 PM eastern time.
That means folks dancing in London: started at 12:30 AM!
Joan Davidson was one of the dancers. He says, "I was still having a hard time doing it. I got through some of it, laughed my way through the rest of it, so it was OK we had a good time, that's all that matters."
The song on the record right now for most dancers is the "Hokey Pokey".
