ATHENS, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A man facing murder charges in the death of a woman from Meigs County has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.
Steven Dougan pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter Monday in the death of Crystal King of Pomeroy, Ohio.
King's body was found in a burned out car on Chase Road a few miles south of Athens back on February 11th. Dougan also pleaded guilty to aggravated arson, tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse. He was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
Athens county prosecutor C. David Warren says Dougan admitted to accidentally killing King during an argument -- shoving her and causing her to hit her head on a car door -- fatally injuring her.

I knew but Crystal and Steve, In all honesty He got off light. Steve Has been in and out of prison for years, and you have to be in deniel if you think a person like this is going to be able to be a productive member of the community. He should have got life, but I guess its easier to just plee out God forbid the Sheriff's dept have to investigate.
I think honestly for every family of a victim of a violent crime they should sue the United States of America for harboring these monsters and letting them go to kill again. There is no justice any more, sorry to say but this country is the toilet bowl of the world when it comes to Justice. America land of the serial killers, Rapist, Druggies and oh dont forget Child Molesters... I can see others people from others countries watching our news shakin their heads and saying " Heck I thought our country was bad but look at Americas violence... At least in other countries they kill their criminals..Take a lesson America!
Meanwhile, an innocent man, Michael Joyce, is being charged with negligent homicide for an accident in the streets of kenova...Being white in west virginia certainly has its advantages...13 years for a premeditated, horrific murder...
