PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A kindergarten teacher and aide have been put on suspension after they were caught on tape verbally harassing students and their parents.
On Tuesday night, the Putnam County School Board suspended Carolyn Rogers and Von Francisco with pay. The pair works at Buffalo Elementary School.
They were caught on several hours of audio tape recorded over several days berating the students and calling them names while also making accusations about their parents.
A school board member told us that Rogers and Francisco will stay on suspension until the conclusion of their investigation.
