CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The mother of a Charleston Man shot and killed by Charleston Police Officers has filed a lawsuit in Kanawha County Circuit Court.
Patricia Harrison told WSAZ.com Saturday night that her attorney filed a wrongful death lawsuit Friday.
Harrison's son, Brian Good, lead police on a chase outside of Charleston city limits in September.
Police say that Good was using his truck as a deadly weapon when he rammed it into police cruisers. That’s when police fired fatal shots at Good.
Charleston Police Officer Jerry Jones also died that night as a result of friendly fire.
An investigation by the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department has cleared the Charleston Police officers involved in the shooting of any wrong-doing.
Harrison says that right now all she can do is confirm the suit has been filed and that she will make a comment at a later date.

Putnam - I'm sure there are bad cops but listening to the police scanner - every five minutes they are called out to DOMESTICS, ongoing burglaries, murders, to be on lookout for certain vehicles where they are driving recklessly, meth lab, drug deals. HEY I'd rather call a policeman when I need something than one of "them". The girl in the vehicle with Good is afraid OF NOTHING, she is a professional con as is her husband and they terrorize any area they live in due to multiple robberies to finance their drug needs. I have no respect for the Light woman nor the Good guy who was shot as they are like a growing cancer, getting by with crime after crime, after crime, to where they laugh at the justice system. I never thought i could feel "hard" after hearing about a young person dying - but these type of people USE the system, live off welfare., They contribute NOTHING useful at all to society. All Good had to do was pull over. it was his choice to do a "bonnie and clyde" play.

Folks looks like we could be living in the "TWILIGHT ZONE" here in the mountain state. This place is scary. Reminds me of Marshall law. Where they do what they want because they can. Don't make waves or question the decisions made here or else. This disgraceful "almost heaven" so called place. "Hogwash" to that motto. These guys(police) are no better than thieves, since they stick together like them. She was probably cohersed by them to make the first statements she made out of fear for her life possibly. Wonder if Officer Jones family has already settled with the department. Ya think?? Maybe that is why we haven't heard from them. The officers family would be considered more credible if they were to challenge what exactly took place? An independent, and unbiased investigation which could possibly lead to the whole case being found unjustified. Hmmm??? One settlement is cheaper than two right? Shhhh! They may not think we're on to them. Wild, wild West Virginia

rk - Probably she'll hire same attorney Ms Good has. I'm sure she will be main witness for Ms Good as to what "happened inside that truck" When she was pictured in newspaper for her interview, she probably wasn't figuring she'd need to change her story some TO SHOW BRIAN'S INNOCENCE - all she was doing was blaming him for making her throw things out the window and talking about him ramming the police cars. Will be interesting to hear her STORY NOW won't it. Even if she doesn't sue, I'm sure she'll be promised a 'piece of the pie" as it's already been insinuated by a family member that Natasha saw Brian RAISE HIS HANDS UP IN SURRENDER - yeah right!!! She didn't tell the newspaper folks that.... She was only trying to make sure she didn't get charged with an accessory to murder (Jerry Jones' as she certainly was)
