GUYANDOTTE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A cruise on the Ohio River lasted a little longer than expected for some riders Sunday evening.
Emergency crews say a thirty foot boat riding on the Ohio River near Guyandotte started taking on water and began to slowly sink with passengers on board.
Workers sent out a rescue boat to bring the passengers in to shore and attempt to tow the boat in, but when the rescue vessel got there, those on board say a good samaritan had already rescued the passengers.
No injuries were reported.
