RAW VIDEO: Cars Line Up for Cheap Gas
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Gasoline was being sold for $1.99 per gallon in Huntington Friday morning.
It didn't take long for dozens of drivers to line up at the new convenience store to take advantage of the nearly 60 cent a gallon discount.
The new 7-11 Store in the 14-hundred block of 3rd Avenue was offering the discount as part of their grand opening celebration.
The $1.99 promotion started at 7 a.m. and ended at 10 a.m.
Store management tells WSAZ.com they are planning a similar promotion from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, but they are not sure what the price of gas will be during that time period.
