CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Brickstreet Mutual Insurance Co. Chairman Tom Flaherty is joining the West Virginia University Board of Governors.
Gov. Joe Manchin announced Flaherty's appointment to the board Tuesday. The WVU graduate replaces Stephen Goodwin, who resigned in October.
Flaherty will serve the remainder of Goodwin's four-year term, which expires next June 30.
Flaherty is a founding member of the Flaherty, Sensabaugh and Bonasso law firm. He also has served as president, chairman and board member of the West Virginia State Bar.

Drema, you got it right, this is their big scam at the expense of the ones that can least afford it and not able to work, all from people like you that have been on a job 20 years and longer! There is a hotter place than WV just waiting for these people. Flaherty and Manchin have got one foot through the door now!

it doesn't surprise me about this. it seems like the gov. and tom are thick as thiefs. they seem to deny a worker their workers comp. because they say it is from a previous injury, but when you worked several years afterward and don't have any problem with your knees until you fall in the freezer and no one witnesses it, it is like no one believes you. i worked at the same job for going on 20 years at mcdonald's in hurricane,wv.
