DINWIDDIE, Va. (AP) - Virginia State Police say one person was killed when a tour bus belonging to Miley Cyrus overturned, but the 16-year-old "Hannah Montana" star was not on board.
Sgt. Thomas Molnar says the bus overturned around 8:15 a.m. Friday on Interstate 85 in Dinwiddie, about 40 miles south of Richmond.
One of the other nine passengers had minor injuries. Police would not identify those aboard.
According to Miley Cyrus' Web site, the pop singer is scheduled to perform Sunday in Greensboro, N.C.

whew! you scared me for a minute. im glad it was an ordinary person that died and not the great miley. there are plenty of seconnd class citizens to die but only one miley the great...goodbye america
If you people would read. It states CLEARLY that police is not releasing any names!Maybe there was a personal reason why she was not on the bus, who knows, but, I am sure everyone invloved. who was not on this bus is hurting, because they were all like family. There have been other band members who were killed in a bus wreck and the lead singers not being on the bus, and the stories that were announced, was in similarity. But yet no bad words, or name calling was smeared everywhere. My thoughts and prayers go out to all involved,INdiretly or directly of this accident. Its awful for anyone to deal with this kind of bad news, wether you are a celebrity or not. The news always hits your heart.
someone died.....and nothing....there is nothing about the person who lost their life. only about a redneck hick signer from kentucky. what is wrong with people?!?
