CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Half the fun of the holidays is the treats that come along with it.
Saturday, some folks wanted to prove their homemade creations were the very best.
The Charleston Town Center set the stage for a cookie contest.
Participants brought in a baker's dozen of Christmas treats. The winner took home a $100 gift certificate to the Charleston Town Center. The recipe will also be published in the Charleston Gazette.
While the adults competed kids practiced their cookie decorating skills at Santa's Cookie Workshop.
