NEW BOSTON, Ohio (WSAZ) -- On Black Friday, the crowds tend to be large and, in some cases, the tempers are short.
Two shoppers were arrested Friday morning as they waited in line for deals at the Walmart in New Boston, which is located in Scioto County.
Things got heated -- a little pushing and shoving and the next thing the shoppers knew, they were being fingerprinted at the police stations instead of grabbing great deals.
"It's not worth it," New Boston Police Capt. Steve Goins said. "You just have to control yourself and your emotions and try to be good to your fellow person there."
The two shoppers, both men, were charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Yes Outraged - I want to walmart 2 time that day. I was so HAPPY Because I didn't spend One cent that day I didn't see or hear about the ticket.
Don't believe in a damn thing the NBPD or Walmart tells WSAZ or you. One of the cops beat down an 18 yr old. He didn't even do nothing. I was there watching it all. The cops followed a group of young men in and started harassing them. The next thing I remember seeing is one of the young men being pushed down to the ground by and cop and he tried getting back up and the cop hauled off and smacked him in the face!! That's the kind of area Scioto County/Portsmouth has become. These cops are the people out there protecting us. The people keeping the so-called peace. So before you start running your mouth about stuff you don't know I suggest you did a bit of research instead of believing everything that's handing to you by cops/WSAZ/etc. It's pathetic. My thoughts to the family of the young man who got beat up. I SAY SUE THE NEW BOSTON POLICE DEPT AND WALMART!!
Free trip to jail with your after thanksgiving stupidity!
