RIPLEY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Satellite voting has been approved in Jackson County, West Virginia.
County Commissioners voter unanimously Thursday to approve a satellite office in Ravenswood.
County Clerk Jeff Waybright tells WSAZ.com his office has not heard of any opposition to satellite voting.
Right now, commissioners don't know exactly where the office will be located, but the executive chairs from both parties will be part of the process. In fact, they will come up with a location and present it to the county commission for final approval.
Waybright tells WSAZ.com the county picked Ravenswood as the location because the majority of people who live in the northern part of the county have to come to the city at least once a week to go to the bank or grocery store.

Glad I saw this on WSAZ's site. We would never read about it in the Jackson Heard or Star News. Haven't seen an article about the County Commission in many months. Very little news in these papers. Only ads and sports. WAY TO GO Jackson Newspapers!
