UPDATE: 11 Arrested in Ashland Following Lengthy Investigation
Eleven people were jailed Tuesday night after an eight-month investigation in Ashland.

ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Eleven people were jailed Tuesday night after an eight-month investigation in Ashland.

They were arrested along Winchester Avenue in Ashland. City police went to pick up one man who they had an indictment for, and ended up arresting three more people who also had been indicted.

According to a news release from the Ashland Police Department, 11 individuals were charged by Grand Jury Indictments with 23 counts of trafficking in narcotics.

One person that was targeted during the round up could not be located and is no longer believed to be in the Tri-State area.

The names of those arrested are as follows. Richard Layne, Ronita Butler, Jamond Buford, Linda Layne, Reecola Butler, Bonita Butler, Issac Olige, Jack Ruggles, Larry Davis, Ricky Ingram and Demetrius Butler. All were lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.

actually ME you are right He couldnt afford bond, the family could have and the family refused to post it for him to teach him a lesson! And another fact is the so called "rat" skipped town! His family did the right thing by not posting if anything this will teach him a lesson! BTW since my orig post he has come home..and why I know so much about it is because he's my BROTHER! We had great parents, great childhood he had no excuses even if he did get laid off and felt that was the only way he could provide for his kids. Our parents would have helped him but he was too proud. He hurt alot of ppl and deserved to stay where he was! He has no one to blame but himself...not the apd or the rat, but HIMSELF.
