MINGO COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Mingo County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in identifying two men they say were caught on camera stealing cable belonging to Verizon.

Sgt. Joe Smith tells WSAZ.com the incident happened near the mouth of Chatteroy on January 16.

Smith says nearly $20,000 worth of cable was taken. He says the two men in the pictures actually cut the cable from the poles about four hours before they were caught on camera.

He says the men were driving either a 2004 or 2005 extended cab F-150 with the FX4 package.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact Sgt Joe Smith at the Mingo County Sheriff's Office at 304-235-0300.
