MILTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An early morning fire has gutted a house in Milton.
The fire in the 1200 block of Dale Road was first reported around 3:30 a.m.
Firefighters with the Milton Volunteer Fire Department tell WSAZ.com that the one-story house was a rental property and that the tenants moved out two days ago.
They say it appears the fire started in the front part of the house. No word yet on how it started.
Firefighters returned to the house twice Wednesday morning to put out hot spots.
