HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Marshall University is providing students access to on-campus rooms during inclement weather.

The rooms will be available to those students who are unable to leave the Huntington campus due to weather-related circumstances.

Each room will include items such as toiletries and linens.

According to a news release from the school, each commuting student needing a room would need to provide his or her Marshall ID and sign in to a specified residence hall for temporary stay, as approved by the director of residence services.

“It is Marshall University’s duty and obligation to maintain the safety of all its students, including those commuting to and from campus,” said Steve Hensley, dean of student affairs.

For more information, contact Lekesha Glover, assistant director of residence services, at 304-696-6208.
