Slick Roadways Cause Accidents Throughout Kanawha County
Emergency crews were busy Tuesday morning responding to several accidents in and around Charleston.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The northbound lanes of Interstate 79 near Clendenin are back open to traffic.
UPDATE @ 9:45am
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A minivan has overturned along Interstate 79 near Clendenin exit.
The accident happened around 9:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes.
911 dispatchers tell WSAZ.com no one was hurt, but the northbound lanes near Clendenin are closed at this time.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Emergency crews are busy at this hour responding to several accidents in and around Charleston, but no serious injuries have been reported.
The latest accident happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 77 near the Edens Fork exit in Kanawha County.
The driver involved in this accident tells WSAZ.com she went over the bridge, hit a patch of ice and lost control of her car. She says her car did a 360 before she went over the hill.
The woman was not hurt.
Another car is in the median just a few miles down the highway.
Emergency crews have also been called to Upper Pinch Road where a car is in a creek, but again no injuries were reported.
Several others accidents have been reported along MacCorkle Avenue in Charleston.
Dispatchers say the roads are slick and drivers need to slow down and use extra precautions as they head out Tuesday morning.
