Police say Jail Escape Plan Foiled
Police say a plan by three inmates to escape from the Boyd County Detention Center was foiled.

CATLETTSBURG, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Police say a plan by three inmates to escape from the Boyd County Detention Center was foiled.
According to a news release from the Catlettsburg Police Department, Jailer Joe Burchett discovered the plan Friday night.
As a result, Richard Pauley, Jr., Timothy Tussey and Bradford Cordle now face attempt to escape and criminal mischief charges. All three men are from Ashland.
Police say the three had tried to penetrate the roof of the detention center. Details on their escape are not being released for security reasons.

All of you making comments these people are sons and fatrhers brothers whatever familys are hurting seeing them do bad things why trash talk about them i know timmy tussey and he above all people is not trash yes he done something wrong but why trash talk them i mean come on they went down the wrong road but when they get out if they do they may have changed which i hope so but u can only pray but dont trash talk grow up people

I'm thankful that the plan was discovered before something could've happened! I live near this area, and an escaped inmate is a scary situation.

I see that WSAZ is a little selective when it comes to posting comments. When someone takes a stab at WSAZ it's not allowed to be posted. I understand, I just hope you all fix the problem of people stabbing each other on here and writing stuff that has nothing to do with the story. This is like topix.com if you all don't clean it up.
