ORIGINAL STORY 2/10/10
LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- More than 3,000 customers of the Logan County Public Service District are under a boil water advisory.

The advisory was issued around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Customers from Pecks Mill to Chapmanville, Mill Creek, Lake, Garrett, Fork, Big Creek, Harts Creek and Crawley Creek need to boil their water before use.

William Baisden, PSD general manager, says there has been a break in an 18-inch line. Crews are on the scene trying to repair the break. They hope to have this done by the end of the day to start testing the water and lift the advisory.

Until then, customers should boil their water for one minute and let it cool before using. They also suggest using bottled water.
