Name Released in Fatal Accident in Davis Creek
Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies tell WSAZ.com Ricky Ray Huffman, Jr., 31, of Davis Creek, was driving the pickup truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

DAVIS CREEK, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Davis Creek Road is back open to traffic after a fatal accident.
According to a news release, the two vehicles collided head-on around 11:00 a.m. Thursday.
Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies tell WSAZ.com Ricky Ray Huffman, Jr., 31, of Davis Creek, was driving the pickup truck and was pronounced dead at the scene. Huffman’s two children were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Tommy Pennington, 48, of Davis Creek, was driving the van. He was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt.
Kanawha County Sheriff Accident Reconstruction units are investigating the crash.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

DAVIS CREEK, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Emergency crews are on the scene of a fatal accident along Davis Creek Road in Kanawha County.
The accident happened just before 11:00 a.m. Thursday near the Davis Creek Church of God.
911 dispatchers tell WSAZ.com three vehicles were involved in the accident and one person has died.
We're also told there are several other people injured and some still trapped inside the vehicles.
Right now, Davis Creek Road in Davis Creek is closed to traffic.

To poster to Chris...if I was nosey i would have been asking the questions to...There is no reason to ask about the death of someone you don't know b4 the family has been talked to and helped its none of our business...I'm sorry for your loss...To RoyL really buddy you say he was a bad parent for not wearing a seat belt a lil info for you when my brother was killed in car wreak in 99 they released he wasnt wearing a belt but i was in the car and he was it broke and he flew out or the car but that wasn't released you have no right to say that...To carrie its not a negitive comment at all i don't know where you see anything neg in that but ur opinion...Jamie how you didnt know ur sister died but from here is awful and i'm sorry for that yet thts not why ppl ask on here..Again I pray for th family
It never ceases to amaze me how cruel and insensitive people can be on these comments (royL) This is so sad, I dont know these people but Ive been in this situation and Im praying for this family and the children. God Bless you!!
