CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Charleston man wanted on child abuse charges is behind bars tonight.
Mitchell Kazoon is accused of abusing his girlfriend's child. Earlier this week Kazoon was watching the child when he called her to say the child wouldn't calm down.
When he dropped the child off at the woman's workplace she noticed his hand was red and blistering. Doctors said the child suffered first and second degree burns. Doctors say the injuries are consistent with child abuse.
He's charged with child abuse resulting in injury.
Kazoon is 25-years-old and is being held in the South Central Regional Jail.
