HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Numerous weather-related wrecks were reported throughout the region Monday night, including one in Huntington that involved a car sliding into a house.
That accident occurred around 7 p.m. near the intersection of Hal Greer Boulevard and Washington Boulevard.
Huntington Police say a driver turning from Hal Greer Boulevard hit another car, then slid off the road into the side of the house. No one was hurt in the accident.

GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) --Gallia County Sheriff Joe Browning has issued a Level 1 Snow Advisory.
Browning says drivers should use caution on County and Township Roads.
He also urges drivers to give space to County and Twp. Road crews working to remove snow and ice from the roadways
Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini also announced Monday morning that a Level 1 Snow emergency has been declared for Scioto County.
The Kentucky Tranportation Cabinet reports that Interstate 64, US 23, US 60, KY 32, the AA Highway and other major routes are covered with snow and should be considered slick.
More than 75 snow plows are clearing lanes, but heavy snowfall and blowing snow are quickly re-covering those lanes.
ORIGINAL STORY 2/15
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Dispatchers in Cabell County are reporting numerous wrecks due to the falling snow.
Several crashes have been reported on I-64. No serious injuries have been reported.
A Marshall University student won't be going to class Monday after his car slid off a snow covered Route 2 and onto the railroad tracks just outside Huntington. .
Billy Blackburn of Barboursville received only a bump on the head after his car slid down the embankment about 30 feet.
As a result of the accident, an oncoming train has been forced to stop. This has blocked a crossing and is backing up traffic along Route 2 near the city limits.
Traffic is now moving slowly in the area
There was also a head-on collision at 8th Ave and 28th Street in Huntington that sent two men to the hospital Monday morning.
Our crew reports that a car was headed east in the wrong lane when it hit a truck traveling west head-on.
Drivers are being urged to use caution.

I am from braxton county, if u dont know about braxton county it is nothing but hollers and I had to drive 35 minutes just to get to work that is on a good day. Well I could not call off due to bad weather there were times I would have been off two weeks if I had waited on a salt truck to come thru. And just for the record I was driving a 1997 dodge neon everyday on a dirt road covered in ice and snow. stop blaming the weather to call in people. its the driver not the road. pampered city folk. lol I love u guys tho and i love the city! ;)
where i am from u have to drive in terrible road conditions, and the trick is--stay calm drive slow, stay alert, keep your foot off the brake, use lower gears instead, automatics have lower gears too!use them! and u will be fine! I agree with CaptDanAmerica. My mother had to walk 1/2 mile out of a holler to get to school in the 60's no matter the weather. kids today are pampered. bundle 'em up and send 'em out! It builds character! stop all the pampering! whining because your child has to stand at bus stop for a few minutes in the cold! We live in the greatest country in the world we are blessed with many good things and Many Americans abuse it instead of thanking the Lord for what we do have. Im just sad now. :(
I love how Huntington ignores the "poor" areas of Huntington when it comes to salting roads. I've never seen a salt truck on or around the road I live on.
