JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ)--Almost one year after Kentucky State Police raided the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Johnson County and seized records, investigators returned to the jail to continue the probe.

State Auditor Crit Luallen's office is also now involved in the investigation.

Both state police and state auditors will not say much about their investigation.

They just say it is continuing and they are going through records.
Last year, KSP said they received a number of allegations of criminal activity at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.

In April, Detectives and officials with the Department of Corrections seized boxes of records from the jail.

They took everything from inmate records to financial statements.
Ten months later, the investigators returned to the Detention Center to look some more.

“There's not a lot I can comment on at this time. The case is still ongoing. Investigation, as we speak, is still being investigated,” Trooper Mike Goble said.

Officials with State Auditor Crit Luallen's office will not say what they are looking for in the records and cannot do interviews on the situation.
