It was a packed house Thursday night as Kanawha County commissioners let voters know how they felt about the upcoming table game election.
Commissioners voted two to one supporting the table game resolution. The resolution supports the passage of table games in Kanawha County.
Commissioner Dave Hardy was the only vote against the resolution. He said commissioners shouldn't be taking a public stand on this private issue.
"I will not vote on a resolution that substitutes my judgment for that of the voters. I think the voters need to be heard on the issue and the commission should stand down on whether or not we should tell the voters how to vote on the referendum," Hardy said.
The man wearing the gesture mask was arrested and forced to leave the meeting because masks are not allowed in county commission meetings.
