Traffic Slowly Moving Along 119 in Alum Creek
Traffic is now moving in one north bound lane of 119 in Lincoln County where an accident happened.

ALUM CREEK, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Traffic is now moving in one north bound lane of 119 in Lincoln County where an accident happened.

According to an officer on the scene three women were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

According to police, the SUV they were traveling in slid and flipped twice, after an elderly man in a car failed to yield. He was not injured.

All three of the women were taken to CAMC for treatment.

The accident happened about 3:30 this afternoon on the Coal River Bridge, stopping northbound traffic for a period of time.

ALUM CREEK, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An accident has shut down the north bound lanes of 119, or Corridor G.

The road is shut down just outside the Kanawha County line in Lincoln County at the Little Coal River Bridge.

Dispatchers say they still don't know much about the accident that happened around 3:30 Saturday afternoon.

First let me say, I hope everyone involved in this accident is going to be ok. I would like to say thanks to Amanda and all the other reporters who try to bring us the latest news. As someone who has had a family member injured on this dangerous stretch of highway, how can anyone set and write a comment critizing the word woman/women in a sentence. Remember this is news as it is happening. Keep up the good work guys.

There were actually six taken by ambulance to CAMC General. They were on their way to the Tim McGraw concert. The sold out show had six empty seats tonight.
