HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A college education doesn't usually come free, but getting a break can come easy with the help of College Goal Sunday.

College Goal Sunday is a state wide event that was designed to help high school students fill out their financial aid forms.

FAFSA helpers were on hand at Marshall's Community and Technical College to help answer questions and walk students and parents through the financial aid process.

"I think that people tend to count themselves out, that they don't need to complete the FAFSA, but it needs to be completed to be considered for the promise scholarship, institutional aide, for student loans. Everyone needs to complete a FAFSA if they're thinking about going to college," said Angela Holley, program coordinator.
