First of all I think that everyone wants to give their opinions when someone makes a mistake. Maybe they need to take a look at their own children. Everyone makes mistakes. This whole corporal punishment is insane. Yes the boys made some un-wise decisions and I know that one of the boys is dealing with it. He isn't being praised for what he has done. He is a good person and feels really bad for what he has done. His family is dealing with the situation and doesn't need all of nasty comments on here. And for the comment about "where was his parent" they are very active in his life. He He didn't murder anyone or have a car full of drugs.

Are you guys serious? Corpal punishment???...the death penalty???...an eye for an eye?.??.....20 years in prison???.....Grand theft auto???.....Rules of the old west???...I am not condoning what the kids did but they are that just kids. Make them pay for all the damages but let them get on with their lives. I know when I was young I did alot of stupid things and learned from my mistakes but it has made me a better person. Lets face it they could have been out there doing a whole lot worse than what they did. If it was my car, yea I would be mad and yes I would expect them to pay for all damages but then I would take the high road and realize that they are just kids and everyone makes mistakes...As the old saying goes...He who lives in a glass house should not throw stones.
