House Fire Reported on Charleston's West Side
Firefighters responded to a house fire on Charleston's west side.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Firefighters responded to a house fire on Charleston's west side.
The fire broke out around 7:00 a.m. Wednesday along Burgess Street.
No one was hurt, but the house was heavily damaged.
Firefighters tell WSAZ.com several bags of clothes were near a fueled fire floor furnace when they caught fire.
Investigators say the heat was turned up early Wednesday morning and when the furnace got hot it melted the bags and caught the clothes on fire and the flames quickly spread.
Two juveniles were home at the time of the fire. Firefighters say they did the right thing and got out of the house and called 911.
Firefighters say the rental home did not have any working smoke detectors.
