Emergency Road Aid Funds Awarded to Lewis County

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (WSAZ) -- The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet today announced that Lewis County Fiscal Court will receive $68,300 in County Road Aid emergency funds.

This money will be used to replace a bridge on Manley Hollow Road.

“These emergency funds are being used to repair roadways to improve safety and mobility,” said Acting Transportation Secretary Mike Hancock. “This project is one example of the cabinet’s commitment to providing a solid infrastructure in Lewis County and all across the commonwealth.”

The Lewis County Fiscal Court is responsible for administering the work.
