GLASGOW, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Glasgow community remembered one of their own Thursday with a special funeral procession.

Glasgow Police Chief Dave Keeney passed away shortly after being diagnosed with Cancer.

The Belle and Glasgow Fire Departments honored him as the funeral procession passed beneath two crossed ladders on its way to the cemetery.

Keeney recently served as police chief but was also involved in many other community organizations.

He was 63-years-old.

dave keeney was one of the best man u would ever meet he never had a frown he was all smiles and he will always be missed by me and family my heart goes out to the family
