ORIGINAL STORY: 2/26
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police have the drugs and guns they were after, but they're still looking for their suspect -- and they say he's no one to mess with.
They're looking for James Elza Blankenship, a former U.S. Marine with charges pending in other cases involving weapons and fraud.
Members of the Huntington FBI Violent Crimes Drug Task Force gathered up all the evidence Thursday night after raiding a house in the 26-hundred block of Harvey Road in Huntington.
More than two dozen marijuana plants, equipment used to grow it, handguns and rifles were found in the home according to police.
While Blankenship was not at home, police tell WSAZ.com that they did remove a woman and 9-month old child from the home.
Police ask that if you know where Blankenship is to call 911.
They say Blankenship should be considered dangerous.
The raid was the result of a tip police received Wednesday night
