Stolen Blasting Caps Recovered
The Gallia County Sheriff says deputies and ATF agents searched two mobile homes on Addison Pike near Oliver Road, Thursday night and found the “caps.

GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) – Investigators have recovered blasting caps stolen from a construction site.

The Gallia County Sheriff says deputies and ATF agents searched two mobile homes on Addison Pike near Oliver Road, Thursday night and found the “caps”.

Investigators say they were stolen a construction site in south east Ohio or West Virginia.

The Sheriff’s Office is not releasing any other information, but they do say criminal charges could be filed in the near future.

Law enforcement had to have leads. They didn't just pull it out of their hats. What I'd like to know is, why weren't the ppl who had the caps in their possession identified? And, yes, Buh-ba...they were up to no good. Otherwise, why would they have blasting caps? Certainly not saving them for July 4th!

I am a little bit confused, how does the Sheriff's office go to someones house and recover something that was stolen (caps) and not have any charges filed? Someone stole these caps or they would not have been looking for them. Is someone getting charged for stealing the caps and if this was not the person who stole them are they in trouble for receiving stolen property?
