HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Police need help in locating a woman who helped an assault victim.

Huntington Police say that around 1 a.m. on February 21, 19-year-old James Padgett was assaulted outside a night club in the 1300 block of 4th Avenue.

Police are now trying to locate a young woman who rendered aid to Padgett until EMS arrived.

Police say Padgett was wearing gray sweatpants and a black sweat shirt when he was assaulted.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Cass McMillian at 304-696-4420.

It is interesting for all the churches in the region and so called conservatives, that this area is one of the worst places to live in the country. I'm glad that I moved far away and do VERY well for myself. My last visit to the tri-state at a local Walmart was embarrassing to say the least. good luck
