W.Va. Abortion/Ultrasound Bill Closer to Being Passed
A bill that would require doctors to offer women the chance to view ultrasound images before getting an abortion is one step closer to passage.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- A bill that would require doctors to offer women the chance to view ultrasound images before getting an abortion is one step closer to passage.
After more than three hours of debate Monday, the House Health and Human Resources Committee voted 16-9 to approve the legislation, which has already passed the Senate.
The bill now moves to the House Judiciary Committee, where bills that would restrict abortion have been stranded for the last several years. A change in leadership at that committee might spell a different outcome this year.
Opponents say the measure is insulting to women and meant to intimidate doctors. Supporters say it simply provides women with the opportunity for more information.
ORIGINAL STORY
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- At the Capitol on Tuesday, a measure aimed at getting women to look at ultrasounds before going through with an abortion has passed the Senate.
If the bill becomes law, the measure would require abortion providers to offer the option of viewing an ultrasound. It will not require women to look at the images.
The bill now goes to the House of Delegates.
Opponents of abortion have been without a major legislative victory for five years.

They should not even be passing a bill for that or let alone passing as bill to murder the unborn children. I still think that is murder to kill a innocent little baby. The Lord has Blessed the mom and dads with that baby. If they do not think they can care for it let them have it instead of murdering it and adopt it.
