CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A simple request by a restaurant manager ended with him being beaten with a roll of nickels.
According to a criminal complaint, Christopher Young became angry with Applebee's manager Jerry Holstein after he asked Young's girlfriend to quiet down.
Young allegedly knocked Holstein to the ground and punched him several times in the face while he was holding a roll of nickels. It happened Friday night at the Applebee's in Kanawha City.
Officers searched Young and found other weapons on him and prescription pills that didn't belong to him. Young has been charged with battery, carrying a concealed weapon and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

if people weren't ignorant, things like this wouldnt happen.
To Elizabeth No apology necessary. As you can tell I don't get as worked up over this stuff as most. Actually I am not an atheist, as they deny the existence of deities. I don't know if there is or isn't a god(s). If there is a god(s) I don't know if it is your version, an Islamic version, a Hindu version, etc. The way I look at the world I personally don't think there is, but I will not blindly say it is not a possibility (I'm agnostic). What my real issue is how religion seems to (in general terms)be the first thing people want to point to as a fix to all our problems, & I just don't agree. I find it disconcerting that adults can't discuss a difference of opinion without being personally offended when discussing religion. I have no problem if somebody is religious but I just don't understand how someone couldn't pause for a moment and at least consider how other people view the world. Simply because you follow god doesn't put you on the right side nor vice versa
Mike I apoligize that was my friend that wrote the one before me. I told them I made no mention of my belief, and they decided they were going to write it out.
