FRENCHBURG, Ky. (AP) - A volunteer with an eastern Kentucky animal rescue organization says 15 plastic grocery bags containing the bodies and body parts of dead animals have been found in a car wash.

Diana McGuire with the Menifee County Humane Society says the bags contained six cats that had been shot to death, two possums, a hog's head, a chicken and some unidentified animal bones.

The Lexington Herald-Leader reports a customer at the car wash discovered the bags Saturday while washing his car at the 460 Car Wash. He looked up and saw bags in the rafters.

McGuire said there were bags with dead animals in all three bays of the car wash.

The Menifee County Sheriff's Office is investigating.

Were there not surveillance cameras running? Have they tried to find out who did this? It would have been a lot easier for this person to have thrown them in the woods, but he put them there for the shock value. This is a dangerous person, in my opinion.

The person/persons resposible need to be evaluated professionally. It's a known fact that serial killers get their start in the beginning by abusing animals.

Any animal killer should be jailed in my opinion. It takes a pitiful excuse for a human to kill defenseless animal like a cat or dog. And H you make a great point about serial killers. And considering how most kids are in the area it wouldnt be a huge shock to find out that they have moved up to humans in the near future. People need to raise their kids better around here and stop letting the tv do it for them. That would stop a lot of the stupid things that have been going on.
